Christine Bleakley and Frank Lampard began a relationship in October 2009 and became engaged in June 2011 after Frank proposed in Los Angeles. They married on 20 December 2015 at St Paul's Church, Knightsbridge. The couple have two children together, a daughter born in September 2018 and a son announced in March 2021. Christine is also stepmother to Frank's two daughters from his previous relationship.

How they met

They first met at the Pride of Britain Awards in 2009; Christine later described an awkward introduction and said Frank called her afterwards and they began speaking regularly while he was away with England.

Mary Elizabeth Donaldson met Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark at a bar in Sydney during the 2000 Summer Olympics. They conducted a long-distance relationship and Mary moved to Europe before their marriage. They married on 14 May 2004 at Copenhagen Cathedral and have four children together. Mary has since carried out engagements for the Danish monarchy and founded the Mary Foundation.
