Alfred Stieglitz and Georgia O'Keeffe developed both a professional and personal relationship after Stieglitz promoted and exhibited O'Keeffe's early drawings. He photographed her extensively and helped establish her reputation in New York. They married on December 11, 1924, and remained a prominent artistic couple while O'Keeffe spent increasing time painting in the American Southwest. Their marriage effectively ended with Stieglitz's death in 1946.

How they met

In 1916 suffragist Anita Pollitzer showed Stieglitz a set of Georgia O'Keeffe's charcoal drawings; Stieglitz arranged to exhibit them at his 291 gallery and O'Keeffe later visited the gallery and met him in person.

They began dating in January 2016. The couple briefly split in February 2017 and reconciled in early 2018, they became engaged on February 14, 2019. Perry announced her pregnancy in March 2020 and gave birth to their daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, in August 2020. The couple ended their relationship and reportedly separated in June 2025.
